Wixie is a web-based version of Pixie. It is very similar, but with more features, and it is accessible from home!

Accessing Wixie

Wixie is only accessible through BCPS One

Select an active class
-
Select Wixie from the left hand side bar

Wixie opens to a home page
-
Click "Create or Edit a Wixie Project" to start a new blank project or to access the Projects Page for more options and previous projects

Remember, the options Lock, Clone, and Protect options will only appear in the Edit menu when an object is clicked on

When no objects are selected and you click Edit, you will have the option to add Instructions to a slide

Give it a try!

Go to the Activities tab and choose one of the activities that you have added to your projects.
-
Assign the activity to a class or group of students.
-
Check the Assignments tab to see what the activity looks like on the calendar view.
-
Go to the Assessments tab and assign an assessment to your activity if it does not already have one.
-
Open the activity, select the Wixie Hand icon, and choose Show Assessment to see what the students will see.
-
When you are finished, join our Lino board to share your ideas for using Wixie this year!
